I’ve spent my whole life finding ways to be creative: sewing, painting, sketching, interior decorating. Wrangling type and layouts became a career.
Oddly enough, I found design while studying psychology. Psych didn't pan out (sorry Dad), but it left me with a lasting curiosity about how people think, which is useful when you're designing for a human brain. I rerouted to art and design and haven't looked back.
Now, with over 20 years of experience in the industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients across a range of sectors, including healthcare, food & beverage, and tech. I've built identities from scratch, evolved established ones, and worked carefully within existing guidelines to protect a brand's integrity. I turn dense, technical information into visual stories that land and design presentations that make people lean in rather than tune out.
Away from the screen, you'll find me with my dog, a yoga mat, a good psychological thriller, or actively trying to keep my plants alive (against all odds). I'm based in Central Ontario, where the city meets cottage country.
Have a project that needs a designer who sweats the details?
